白臀叶猴

During the Vietnam War, parts of the langur's habitat were sprayed with defoliants and severely damaged. The population of albino langurs has declined due to human deforestation, hunting of albino langurs for food and their use in traditional Chinese medicine. White-ripped langurs are also captured for medical research and sold as exotic pets.
