LEAF Platinum Certification

We are proud to share that all four of our wildlife parks (Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, River Wonders and Bird Paradise) have been awarded the LEAF Platinum certification - a testament to excellent landscape design and park management.

Administered by Singapore’s National Parks Board, the LEAF certification scheme recognises developments that are ecologically, climatically and socially resilient. The highest level of LEAF certification (Platinum) recognises projects with distinguished greenery provision and biodiversity enhancements that are above and beyond the norm. 

BCA Green Mark Platinum Award

Penguin Cove at Bird Paradise and two of our buildings under new development – East Arrival Node and the upcoming resort – were also awarded the BCA Green Mark Platinum Award.

The BCA Green Mark Award recognises buildings with sustainable designs and best practices that enable an efficient use of energy, water and material resources.

In view of its exemplary design efforts toward energy savings, the resort is the first hotel in Singapore to be accredited with the BCA Green Mark Super Low Energy (Platinum) Award. 

Outstanding Achievement in Sustainability Award

Mandai Wildlife Group’s leadership in conservation and sustainability was also recognised by the Singapore Tourism Board by being conferred the Outstanding Achievement in Sustainability award in 2023 under the Enterprise Excellence award category.

Global Sustainable Tourism Council-certified

Finally, we are proud of our unwavering commitment to sustainability and responsible tourism, and delighted to share that Mandai Wildlife Reserve is certified as a sustainable tourist destination under the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) Destination criteria.
