Start your adventure by picking up a River Wonders Explorer Bingo sheet at the park entrance and check off the squares as you learn fun facts about the park and its residents. As a member of global zoo associations, did you know that River Wonders participates in a manatee exchange programme which ensures healthy and sustainable populations of the species under human care? The park also spotlights the intricacies of the ecosystems in our natural world, shedding light on the fascinating behaviours of land animals like the jaguar which are often observed hunting along the river’s edge. Complete at least one row of the bingo grid to redeem a pin as a memento.
No visit is complete without hearing from our friendly keepers. Besides the mainstay River Feeding Trail Keeper Talk, River Wonders is introducing two new sessions — the Mekong Giant Catfish and Wild Amazonia Trail Keeper Talks. Available for a limited time, guests can immerse themselves in the unique insights and stories about incredible creatures like the Mekong giant catfish, white-lipped tamarin and silver arowana. Make the most out of your day by checking off all three engaging sessions which are timed one after another!
The exploration takes on a different dimension with Ranger Buddies Quest, a new addition to River Wonders. Ranger Buddies Quest is part of the Ranger Buddies edutainment programme aimed at nurturing every child to become a future-ready and responsible global citizen. Equipped with smart binoculars and a companion app, children can set out on two missions to visit outposts around River Wonders and complete activities. Through the interactive missions, gain a better appreciation of how various animals adapt to river ecosystems and their unique ways of communication. This comes after Ranger Buddies Quest first launched in Singapore Zoo.
Those who prefer to take it easy may extend their visit with an exclusive overnight camping experience. At the River Wonders Ten(t) Retreat, look forward to guided tours of the Amazon Flooded Forest with an arapaima feeding demonstration. You will also have time to roam the park on your own before a hearty buffet at Night Safari. Wind down for the night by pitching your tent and taking in the enchanting Amazon Flooded Forest with fascinating stories shared by the guides.
More information on River Wonders’ 10th anniversary activities is available at www.mandai.com/RiverWonders10.
At the Wild Amazonia Keeper Talk, guests can observe a keeper feeding the silver arowana and even have a go at it. This species is nicknamed ‘water monkey’ as it can leap up to a whopping 2m above water to catch its prey.

The Wild Amazonia Keeper Talk will also bring guests to Amazonia Encounters, an immersive walk-through exhibit home to species such as the white-faced saki monkey, green-winged macaw and Azara’s agouti. Pictured is a female white-faced saki monkey reaching for a nut from her keeper, while a male with the distinctive ‘white mask’ perches nearby.

Young explorers can immerse in the world of the giant river otter at the Ranger Buddies Quest outpost located at the exhibit, where they can take on the role of the world’s largest otter. This interactive experience provides an exciting opportunity for children to learn about the fascinating abilities of these remarkable creatures, which use their sensitive whiskers to suss out danger and detect prey.
