Francois’ Langurs

Known for their black fur and white sideburns, François’ langurs are leaf-eating primates with a four-chambered stomach.

Infants are born bright orange, darkening over time. Thriving in karst landscapes, they rest in caves or cliffs for safety.

As part of Managed Species Programmes, our langurs are an integral part of breeding efforts to maintain genetically healthy populations under human care.
